Alisha has extensive health sector experience that spans 25 years working across public and private hospitals in QLD and interstate, the community health sector, the tertiary education sector and the health information technology sector. She is a qualified Health Information Manager (HIM), holding a Bachelor of Health Science (HIM) and an MBA in corporate governance and leadership.

Alisha is passionate about the effective use of health sector resources to drive quality and efficiency of services to consumers to allow the health system to cope with unlimited demand. As the Senior Director she uses her detailed understanding of data and health information practice to develop new and innovative ways to incentivise the purchasing, funding and commissioning of health services. Alisha is a strong believer in investing in the next generation and therefore is committed to coaching and mentoring. When not at work, Alisha advocates for the platypus living happily in the local creeks and rivers around her house and walking her Cocker Spaniel ‘Mr Gee’.
