Andrew Wilson AO

Biography
Professor Wilson is Co-Director of the Menzies Centre for Health Policy and Economics, and Professor of Public Health in the School of Public Health, at the University of Sydney. He has specialist qualifications in public health and clinical medicine, and a PhD in epidemiology.
His research interests concern how evidence can better inform decision making in clinical medicine, public health, and health service policy and planning.
He is chair of Board of the NSW Health Clinical Excellence Commission. He chairs the Accreditation Committee of the Australian Health Professional Registration Agency. He was the Chair of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee for the Australian Government from 2015-24.
