IHACPA Conference 2025

Anne is a Health Information Manager who for almost twenty years has worked in health classification development at both the University of Sydney and University of Wollongong. Anne has been working at the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) since 2016, where she is the Director of Acute Care Classifications leading the development of ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACHI/ACS and AR-DRGs. She also participates on committees for international health classification development through the World Health Organization’s – Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC) Network.

Health classifications facilitate the capture of quality health data that is used for multiple purposes and contributes to improving the health outcomes of Australians. Anne is passionate about classification development and excited by the opportunities that classifications such as ICD-11 present for the future.
